A labor of love 10+ years in the making, Dry County is now a household name with beer on tap in local restaurants, available for purchase at local package stores, and direct from the production line at their local taproom. Mr. Sinclair attributes much of his success to the support of the Kennesaw community and leadership.
Sinclair began by brewing unlabeled beer out of his home and cold-calling restaurants and bars, hoping they would purchase his brews and sell them - and his hard work paid off. Places started saying yes, and after a while, Sinclair was able to establish his taproom in 2016.
Kennesaw has continued to support Dry County ever since, and the company has continued to grow. Its offering now includes six brands that produce 14 beers, 3 ciders, 4 hard seltzers, and 6 spirits.
Kennesaw’s supportive community and leadership make it the perfect place to build and grow a business.
The community made it easy for Dry County to want to give back. In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Dry County began converting their vodka production into hand sanitizer production and was able to provide it to the community free of charge. In addition, according to their website, they host ‘Craft for a Cause’ events in the tasting room to raise funds and awareness for local non-profit organizations, and work to align the community with organizations and businesses to create the most impactful possible impact.
Kennesaw is a community devoted to the success of local businesses. The City’s local leadership and staff work tirelessly to ensure ease of service and expedited approvals. This dedication to business growth and success is a badge of honor the City of Kennesaw wears proudly. As a result, the City has built strong, lasting relationships with its businesses that weather the test of time.
