Uniquely, Apotheos houses its production facility in the fellowship hall of a former Methodist Church. Built in 1902, the church was a community landmark; and, with the help of federal historic tax credits, the Hughes family beautifully restored and preserved it. The roastery boasts ethically sourced, craft blend and single origin coffees. All coffees are roasted, brewed, bagged and canned in-house using their state-of-the-art Diedrich CR35 Semi-Automatic Roaster. Since their opening in 2016, Apotheos has made a resounding impact on the Southeast coffee market and the culture of the Kennesaw community. The flagship facility is available for tours and events, or you can simply swing by for a visit to purchase a fresh cold brew or bag of coffee.
Kennesaw supports its local business by focusing on growth and sustainability.
If you speak with the Hughes family, they will be the first to extol the benefits of living and working in Kennesaw. Kennesaw’s strong sense of community makes it easy and accessible to build and grow successful personal and business relationships, and its leadership creates a solid foundation that promotes business welfare and success. Dale Hughes, owner of Apotheos Roastery, states, “Kennesaw is a great place to make our home and community. Kennesaw is not simply a city. It’s about the people.”
