Housing & Cost of Living

Kennesaw is increasingly becoming an attractive place to live and work. The relative affordability of homeownership has been a large contributor to this recent growth, especially for larger families. There is also growing demand for rental options. As such, Kennesaw is actively diversifying its housing to include more townhome and multifamily housing options - both to create density and increase housing availability for its workforce.

Keeping in line with typical suburban communities, Kennesaw has placed a great emphasis on maintaining its single-family neighborhoods to provide residents with an ideal environment for raising a family.

According to a recent study by RKG, two- and three- person households are increasing by 20% and 18% respectively. Meanwhile larger families, five-or-more person households, have grown by a staggering 35% over the last five years.
